About Ariela Abravanel

Great to meet you!

You've probably been handling this on your own for a while, and reaching out still doesn't feel easy. I want therapy to feel like a genuine conversation where you can be yourself, so I keep things warm, collaborative, and down to earth, with a little humor when it fits. I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship difficulties, family conflict, and major life transitions. I offer sessions in English and Spanish, and I value the role that language, culture, and personal identity play in how we understand ourselves.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, we'll go beyond just talking about what's wrong and start building tools that actually fit your life, especially if anxiety or trauma are at the center of what brought you here. You'll walk away from our sessions with a clearer sense of what keeps you stuck and real strategies you can use outside our conversations, not just in them. Therapy isn't the same for everyone, and I enjoy finding what works for your personality, your experiences, and your goals. I tend to work best with people who want an active partner in their own growth, someone who will go deep when it's needed but also knows how to bring in lightness along the way. You are the expert on your own life. My role is to help you understand yourself more deeply and find what genuinely works for you.
